About Captain Warren Hart
Capt. Warren Hart has been a U.S. Coast Guard Licensed Captain Professional Fishing Guide in the Corpus Christi, Texas area since 1999. Born and raised in Louisiana, my father was an oil field worker, so with my family, we traveled overseas, living in places like Africa and the Middle East. I spent my freshman year of high school in Anchorage, Alaska, after which I moved to South Texas for the remainder of my high school years and have been in this area ever since.
As a youth, I learned to fish in freshwater lakes in North Louisiana. Once I moved to South Texas, I started saltwater fishing in the Freeport/Galveston area, and here is where I discovered that I preferred saltwater fishing over freshwater fishing. I obtained my captain’s license and started professionally guiding in 1999 in the Intracoastal waters of Corpus Christi, Texas, including the Laguna Madre, Baffin Bay, the Land Cut, and the Lower Laguna Madre. I fish for speckled trout, redfish, flounder, and black drum.
While my passion is fishing, in the off-season, I am hired by Outfitters as a Professional Hunting Guide for whitetail deer. In my spare time, I also enjoy dove, pheasant, and sandhill crane hunting. Capt. Warren is also an avid deer hunter and spends a lot of time chasing Texas Whitetail. A local ranch also hires him to guide guests on private deer hunting adventures.
